MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007329 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated disc brake repairing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated disc brake repairing device, comprising a housing 1 with an inlet 2, a disc brake to be placed in chamber 3, a display panel 4 mounted on housing 1 allowing user to specify the disc brake's type, a gripper 5 for positioning disc on a holding unit 6, an image capturing module 9 to detect condition of disc brake, a grinding blade 10 for smoothening outer surface, a dial test indicator 13 for detecting diameter of multiple slots crafted within the disc brake, a sander 14 for correcting diameter of slots, a scrubber 15 configured with bristles, installed on housing 1 for cleaning the any dust, a container 16 arranged within housing 1 for storing a cleaning solution, an electronic nozzle 17 configured on container 16 for dispensing solution over the bristles in order to ensure proper cleaning of the disc brake."
