According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated disc brake maintenance device, comprises a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, plurality of motorized clamping units 2 for acquiring a grip over the wheel, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images of platform 1, a piler stored in a multi-sectioned chamber 5 for disengaging the sprocket from the wheel, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 6 to extend/retract for positioning a brush 7 integrated with multiple bristles 9, a plunger dial 9 to apply an optimum amount of pressure of sensing element against the disc's surface, an extendable C-shaped clamp 8 for positioning a sensing element underneath the plunger dial 9, and an extendable L-shaped link 10 for positioning a motorized chuck 11 to rotate for translating a facing tool 12 in the disc's brake surface."
