MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017920 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'automated diesel exhaust fluid pump testing device.'

Inventor(s) include Namit Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated diesel exhaust fluid pump testing device comprises of a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to the platform 1, a motorized holder 3 assembled on the platform 1 for holding diesel exhaust fluid pump, multiple telescopic clamps 4 integrated with the holder 3 for extending to secure the pump on the holder 3, a chamber 5 assembled on the platform 1 for storing diesel exhaust solution, a first conduit connected to the chamber 5 with an inlet 6 configured with the pump, a push button 8 assembled on the platform 1 for input regarding activation of the device, a pair of flow sensor installed at the inlet 6 and outlet 7 for detecting flow of the solution at the inlet 6 and outlet 7 of the pump."
