MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026175 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated dent removing device.'

Inventor(s) include Mahipal Singh; Kuldeep; Ananya Singh; and Deepa Rana.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated dent removing device comprises of, a platform 1 arranged over a ground surface, multiple suction cups assembled beneath the platform 1 to affix the platform 1 with the surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 mounted over the platform 1 to provide input regrading requirement of removing dents from the fender, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 arranged over the platform 1 to determine location of wheel of the four-wheeler and dents over the fender, multiple motorized rollers arranged over outer periphery of the plate to rotate on axis assisting in removing the dents, a flame spray gun 6 assembled over the platform 1 via a robotic link 7 for softening the fender to aid in removing of the dents."
