MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019659 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 16, 2024, for 'automated deck sheets punching device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ashok Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated deck sheets punching device, comprises of a frame 1 positioned on a ground surface is arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 accessed by a user to provide input commands regarding punching on a stack of deck sheets, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for detecting alignment and dimensions of the sheets, multiple hinged links 4 for moving frame 1 in proximity to the frame 1, a telescopically operated rod 5 for positioning a disc 10 in proximity to the sheets in order to carve hole in the sheets via extendable first punching tools 6, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting distance of punched hole from rest of the sheets and a U-shaped bar 7 arranged on the rod 5 to get positioned on opposite sides of the sheets in order to carve holes on sheet via multiple secondary punching tool 9."
