MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013519 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'automated copper wire extraction device for stator.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated copper wire extraction device for stator comprises a platform 1 is developed to be placed with a stator, a touch enabled screen 2 enables the user to give input commands, a camera 3 for capturing multiple images, a telescopically operated gripper 4 for gripping and positioning the stator in hollow cylindrical body 5, an ultrasonic sensor for determining diameter of stator, a set of telescopically operated links 6 having multiple c-shaped members 7 for gripping the stator, a motorized cutter 8 configured on L-shaped telescopically operated rod 9 for cutting top portion of the stator via a motorized slider 10, a pair of zig-zag shaped blade 11 for gripping the exposed wires, a pair of wedge-shaped plates 13 configured with a pair of telescopically operated bars 14 for separating the copper wires from stator, and a speaker 15 for notifying the user."
