According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated controlling device for heating appliances, comprising a platform 1 fixed on gas stove by four suction cups 2, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 mounted on platform 1 to determine presence of a child in proximity to stove, a proximity sensor arranged on platform 1 for detecting distance between child and platform 1, a robotic gripper 4 attached with platform 1 for rotating stove's knob to turn off gas supply, a smoke sensor assembled on platform 1 for detecting intensity of smoke, a motorized exhaust fan 5 arranged on platform 1 for exhausting generated smoke, an odor sensor assembled on platform 1 for detecting odor, a speaker 6 assembled on platform 1 for generating voice commands to alert user regarding burning of food items and a computing unit accessed by user to feed time at which user is desiring to turn of knob."
