MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013337 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'automated concrete surface repairing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Gnanaprakasam Thangavel.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated concrete surface repairing device is illustrated, comprising a body 1 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images, a touch interactive display panel 3 for selecting a damaged portion of the surface, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 for moving the body 1, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 7 for positioning a brush 8 in proximity of the damaged portion, an electronically controlled first nozzle 9 connected with a water reservoir 10 to dispense water, a pair of robotic arms 11 for gripping nails stored in a multi-sectioned chamber 12, a hammering unit 13 to insert the nails, an electronically controlled second nozzle 14 to dispense concrete mixture, and a plate 15 integrated with plurality of flaps 16 via an extendable L-shaped link 17 17 for repairing the damaged surface."
