MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020689 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'automated concrete surface designing device.'
Inventor(s) include Mamta Bansal; Rajesh Pandey; Kuldeep Chauhan; and Rajiv Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated concrete surface designing device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface laid with a concrete mixture, a display panel 2 installed on body 1 for enabling user's input details, a non-contact moisture sensor integrated on body 1 for determining moisture content of concrete laid on surface, an electronically controlled nozzle integrated on a water reservoir 3 arranged on body 1 to dispense water on concrete, plurality of motorized primary rollers 4 coiled with stencils arranged underneath the body 1 for unwrapping stencils over the surface, multiple extendable pushers 5 arranged underneath the body 1 for applying pressure over stencils, a pair of track wheel belts 6 arranged underneath the body 1 for maneuving the body 1 over surface and a flap 7 arranged underneath the body 1 for removing mixture stuck on the belt 6."
