MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022623 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'automated concrete structure construction device.'

Inventor(s) include Puneet Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated concrete structure construction device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the body 1 to generate a 3-dimensional map of surrounding of the body 1 which the displayed over a display panel 3 arranged on the body 1, a pair of robotic arms 4 installed on the body 1 for gripping concrete blocks stored in a chamber 5 arranged in the body 1, a multi-sectioned container 6 arranged on the body 1 to dispense a concrete mixture in between the blocks, a motorized gripper 7 installed on the body 1 and integrated with a flap 8 to provide thumping movement on the mixture dispensed on the blocks for applying concrete plaster on the blocks to construct the user-specified structure at the location."
