MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011204 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'automated concrete column dismantling device.'

Inventor(s) include Sreyansu Satya Prakash.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated concrete column dismantling device comprising a housing 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, the housing 101 is arranged with a hopper 102 accessed by a user for accommodating a concrete column to be dismantled in the hopper 102, an imaging unit 103 installed in the housing 101 for capturing images of inside of the hopper 102, a pair of hydraulically operated links 104 integrated on lateral sides of inside of the hopper 102 to position ends of the links 104 in proximity to the accommodated column, a motorized crusher 105 assembled with each of the links 104 to rotate for crushing the accommodated concrete column in the hopper 102."
