MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073962 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'automated cnc and vnc machine safety glass installation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated CNC and VNC machine safety glass installation devicecomprising of a platform 1 configured with multiple motorized wheels 2 to move the platform 1 over a ground surface, a laser sensor to determine level of the surface and sends acquired data, a telescopically operated rod to stabilize the platform 1 over the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 for capturing and processing multiple images of surroundings, a multi-sectioned chamber 5 stored with different dimension of safety glass, a pair of robotic arms 6 to grip and position the safety glass over the safety window, and a robotic link 7 configured with a nail installation unit 8 for installing multiple nails on edges of the glass to secure the glass on the safety window of machine."
