MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026188 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated cloth washing brush manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sumika Jain; Vinod Rathi; Ravi Kumar Bhatnagar; and Deepshikha Tonk.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cloth washing brush manufacturing device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, a multi-sectioned chamber 2 from which a robotic arm 3 grabs an appropriate amount of plastic pellets and accommodates in a die 4 installed in body 1 by means of a rotatable vertical support 5, a heating unit melts pellets and thereafter support 5 rotates for evenly spreading melting pellets into die 4 to cast pellets, over a conveyor belt 6, arm 3 positions solidified mold, a laser measurement sensor monitors dimensions of mold and portion to be trimmed, a motorized gripper 7 grips mold, a cutter 9 trims off evaluated portion, a hydraulically operated piston 10 impresses a plate 11 over surface of handle, multiple circular blades 12 forms multiple cavities on handle, and multiple electronically controlled valves dispense an adhesive in cavities and thereafter arm 3 inserts bunch in cavities."
