MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006218 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'automated cloth washing brush manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Aishna Mahajan; Satish Kumar; and Anuraag Tsewang Namgail.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cloth washing brush manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 attached with a chamber 2 in which oval-shaped wooden pieces are stored, a touch enabled screen 3 accessed by user feed number of cloth washing brush to be manufactured, a telescopically operated gripper 4 positions wooden pieces in a die 5, a motorized hinge 7 flips a plate 6 to cover die 5, an iris lid 22 opened for allowing pouring of molten plastic in die 5 by an electronic nozzle 10 attached with a vessel 9, a Peltier unit configured with die 5 for cooling down molten plastic and again gripper 4 places workpiece on platform 11, a telescopically operated rod 13 extend/retract for carving holes by cylindrical member 12, an electronic valve 16 fills adhesive solution in each holes, gripper 4 inserts bunching of bristles in holes, and a robotic arm 19 cuts bristles by cutter 20."
