MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007322 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated cloth washing and ironing device.'

Inventor(s) include Deepanshu Singh Satwaliya.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cloth washing and ironing device, comprises of an extendable platform 1 equipped with at least four suctions cups 2 for adhering the platform 1 on a fixed surface to wash and iron clothes, a camera 3 for capturing multiple images of the cloth, a telescopically operated gripper 4 for spreading the cloth on the platform 1, an electronic nozzle 6 for dispensing the cleaning solution on the cloth, pneumatic bristles 11 ranging from 10 to 12 for removing stains from the cloth, an electronic valve 12 for dispensing the water on the cloth in view of rinsing the cloth, a hot air blower 14 for blowing hot air for eliminating moisture from the cloth a primary Peltier unit 15 for facilitating drying of the clothes, and a secondary Peltier unit 18 for heating the plate 16 in view of ironing the cloth."
