MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026613 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'automated clay modelling device.'

Inventor(s) include Abhinav Shobhit; Arun Kumar Giri; R. P. Aggarwal; and Anshu Chaudhary.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated clay modelling device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on fixed surface, touch interactive display panel 2 accessed by user to select design of a clay model to be prepared, electronically controlled lids 4 to dispense appropriate amount of material stored in a multi-sectioned chamber 3 into mixing module 5, motorized stirrer 6 rotates for mixing dispensed material to form clay, electronically controlled valve 7 to dispense required amount of clay, AI based imaging unit 8 for determining positioning of the clay on the platform, motorized sliding units 10to translate grippers 9 to get an arrangement at required height as per user-selected design, rotatable shaping unit 11 to apply pressure on clay for molding the clay in the user-desired pattern and motorized dual axis sliding unit 12 to translate pneumatic plungers 13 to extend to position molds over clay to mold the clay."
