MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024178 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated cera alba extraction device.'
Inventor(s) include Nitin Yadav; Ramesh Kumar; Rajni Verma; Ashwani Kumar Sharma; and Krishna Kalsi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cera alba extraction device, comprising a housing 1 positioned over a ground surface by means of plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2, a chamber 3 stored with multiple honeycombs, a touch interactive display panel 4 to provide input regrading extraction of cera alba, a robotic gripper 5 positions over a platform and separation of cap is done by a motorized cutter 6 installed via a robotic link 7 and transferred in a container 8, a heating element melts capping of honeycombs to extract cera alba, a iris lid 9 dispenses melted cera alba onto a sieve 10 positioned in continuation of iris lid 9 for filtering cera alba and which is further collected in receptacle 12."
