MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020105 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated cement block manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sukhminder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cement block manufacturing device comprises of a U-shaped frame 1 positioned over a ground surface via multiple suction units configured beneath the frame 1, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed over the frame 1 to enable a user to provide input regrading number of cement blocks that are to be made, a multi-sectioned chamber 4 arranged over the frame 1 and stored with construction materials which includes water, cement and sand, an electronically controlled valve arranged at base portion of each of the section of the chamber 4 to dispense a regulated amount of the materials, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 installed over the frame 1 to determine location of each of the segment of the containers."
