MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024836 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'automated cantilever breaks repairing device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated cantilever breaks repairing device, comprises of a platform 101 with multiple legs 102 accessed by user to place a cantilever break to repair, a touch interactive display panel 103 allows the user to input repairing details, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 104 integrated with a laser sensor to determine the dimensions and presence of cavities with threads, a crack detection sensor detects cracks on the cantilever break, for metallic breaks, a welding unit 106 activates to repair the cracks, a motorized disc 108 configured with a second robotic arm 107 actuates to position the disc 108 over the detected cavity, multiple tapping unit 113 is configured with the disc 108, the disc 108 positions the appropriate tapping unit 113 over the detected cavity followed by actuation of the tapping unit 113 to carve threads into the cavity."
