MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011915 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 12, for 'automated buttress designing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Jajneswar Nanda.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated buttress designing device, comprising a curved-shaped body 101 that is positioned on a ground surface, adjacent to a buttress, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 102 mounted on the body 101 to detect the exact location of the buttress, an electronic nozzle 104 installed on the body 101 via a rod to dispense the mixture onto the bottom portion of the buttress, multiple laser sensors configured on the body 101 to detect the diameter of the buttress, a container 105 positioned on the body 101, which stores multiple plates carved with different patterns, a robotic arm 106 assembled on the body 101 to access the container 105 and retrieve the selected plate along with engaging plate on a U-shaped holder 107 installed on the body 101 with the help of an L-shaped telescopically operated bar 108."
