MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019760 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated button fixing device for clothes.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated button fixing device for clothes, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface, a display panel 2 arranged on the platform 1 for enabling user's input commands, an imaging unit 3 installed on the platform 1 for detecting presence of clothes, a pair of primary rollers 4 arranged on platform 1 for engaging the clothes, a frame 5 assembled on platform 1 integrated with multi-sectioned chamber 6 for dispensing grommets into a hopper 7 assembled underneath the chamber 6, a gear 8 arranged on the frame 5 configured with an inclined rail 9 for dispensing grommets in a segregated manner and a pair of links 10 arranged on the frame 5 for engaging grommet via a robotic arm 11 arranged on frame 5."
