MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019748 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated brush manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pawan Kumar; and Dr. Ajay Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an automated brush manufacturing device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 configured with multiple rods that provides support to body 1 on fixed surface, a chamber 3 attached inside body 1 for storing multiple coconut husks, a touch interactive display panel 4 installed on body 1 accessed by user to input details regarding a type of brush that the user desires to manufacture, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 installed inside body 1 for determining dispensing of the husk on the platform 7, a touch sensor installed on roller 10 for detecting placement of husk on roller 10, a laser cutter 12 suspended from ceiling of body 1 for cutting bristles at uniform length, a vessel 15 attached inside body 1 for storing multiple handles after applying the strip, gripper 14 withdraw and engage one of handles with bristle."
