MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087337 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'automated bricks cutting and transportation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bricks cutting and transportation device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface and positioned with multiple bricks that are to be cut, a touch enabled screen 2 for enabling user to give input commands regarding dimensions in which bricks are to be cut, a camera 3 for detecting dimensions of bricks, a telescopically operated rod 5 installed on platform 1 and configured with a blade 7 extend/retract as per user-defined dimensions, a scotch-yoke arrangement 8 installed between blade 7 and rod 5 for providing a to-and-fro motion to blade 7 towards bricks with a force in view of cutting bricks, and a GPS for detecting real-time location coordinates of platform 1 for transporting cut bricks to user-specified location followed by an actuation of motorized omnidirectional wheels 10 for maneuvering for positioning cut bricks at user-specified location."
