MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007336 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated brick-based construction device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated brick-based construction device includes, a housing 1 installed with a chamber 2 stored with multiple bricks, a screen 3 to input regarding shape and dimensions of a brick-based structure to be constructed, a camera 4 for capturing multiple images of rebar cage and determines number of bricks to be utilized that are gripped by a primary arm 5 and positioned on a platform 6, a secondary arm 7 equipped with blade 8 to cut required number of bricks in a shape as per shape of structure, a tertiary arm 9 to drill holes on bricks via drilling unit 16 for allowing rebars of cage to pass through bricks, two grippers 11 for successively gripping bricks from platform 6 and arranging with cage, wheels 10 maneuvers housing 1 to position nozzle 12 in proximity to junctions successively for dispensing mortar in junction for adhering bricks together."
