MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026129 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated bread bun stuffing device.'
Inventor(s) include Sumeet Kumar; Shweta Sandal; Gagandeep; Nakul; and Harshit.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bread bun stuffing device, comprises of a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, hopper 2 that is accessed by a user for feeding jam inside the hopper 2, a plate 3 by means of a rod 4 for supporting the hopper 2 over the platform 1, a chamber 5 for storing bread bun, a pair of robotic arms 6 for accessing that chamber, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing and processing multiple images of the platform 1, a pair of conduits 8 each integrated with an electronically controlled nozzle 9 for dispensing an appropriate quantity of the jam at mid portion of the bun, a multi-sectioned tray 10 for storing stuffed bun."
