MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020093 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'automated bracelet and thread fastening device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bracelet and thread fastening device comprises of, a platform 1 affixed over a fixed surface via multiple suction units that are assembled beneath the platform 1, touch interactive display panel 2 mounted over the platform 1 to enable a user to provide input regrading requirement of clasping of the bracelet over the wrist portion, artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 arranged over the platform 1 to determine location of the user's wrist, multiple motorized grippers are integrated with the sliding unit over the user's wrist and a robotic arm arranged over the platform 1 to position a motorized brush 5over the detected dust/dirt for cleaning the detected dust/dirt."
