MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011908 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 12, for 'automated bottle sealing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Santanu Kumar Sahoo.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bottle sealing device, comprising a platform 101 positioned over ground surface via multiple motorized Omni-directional wheels 102 arranged beneath platform 101, a user position a bottle to be wax sealed over platform 101, an imaging unit 103 installed over platform 101 determines bottle dimensions, a pair of robotic arms 105 withdraw one strap from a multi-sectioned chamber 104 arranged over platform 101 and dip in wax stored in a container 106 followed by applying wax dipped strap over joint of bottle and bottle cap, a robotic link 107 grip the bottle via a motorized clamp 108 and orient bottle in upside down manner, a motorized scotch yoke arrangement 109 installed between link and gripper dip the bottle up till neck portion within wax to coat wax around bottle top portion and afterwards position bottle over platform 101 in vertical manner for cooling coated wax to seal bottle."
