According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated book binding system, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a surface, plurality of suction cups 2 for gripping the surface to accommodate the platform 1 over the surface, an AI-based image capturing module 3 images of surroundings, a pair of robotic arms to grip and position book over the platform 1, a plate 4 installed on platform 1 via an L-shaped telescopic rod 5, a sliding unit installed on plate 4 adjusts gaping among punching pins 10 configured with sliding unit, L-shaped telescopic rod 5 to extend to allow the punching pins 10 to penetrate the book or copy, multi-sectioned chamber 6 for storing semicircular shaped ring 7 and a hollow cylinder 8 and iris apertures 9 for gripping each ends of the semicircular shaped ring 7."
