MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019747 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated bedding packaging device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bedding packaging device, encompasses a platform 1 supported by rods 2 with suction cups 3 to secure the platform 1 to a ground surface, an inverted L-shaped plate 4 with a holder 14, enabling user to place a bedding on holder 14, a touch display panel 7 allows user to input commands for bedding type, a first slider 5 lifts a second plate 6 to sandwich the bedding, a second slider 8 moves the first plate 4 towards a second plate 6, a pair of robotic grippers 9 on platform engage the bedding, a third slider 15 brings elongated members 16 together, enabling the bedding to be rolled by using high-torque DC electric motors, a chamber 10 holds packing bags with a refillable inlet 11, an imaging unit 12 confirms successful rolling, prompting grippers 9 to insert a bag and package the bedding."
