MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025595 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'automated bearing removing device.'

Inventor(s) include Rajesh Pandey; Mohd. Ahamad; Ananya Singh; and Priti Garg.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bearing removing device, comprising a platform 1 positioned over a fixed surface configured with a body 2 by means of a motorized scissor arrangement, a touch interactive display panel 3 installed over the body 2 accessed by a user to provide input commands, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 installed over the body 2 to determine height of the workpiece, an inverted J-shaped frame 5 attached over the body 2 and configured with a plate 6 to position the plate 6 over a bearing, a motorized extendable clamp 7 configured with the plate 6 to grip the bearing and a telescopic hammer 8 installed over the body 2 to hit the bearing in order to loosen grip of the bearing from the workpiece."
