MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105618 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'automated bearing installation device.'

Inventor(s) include Ganesh Kumar Kantak.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bearing installation device installation device, comprising a platform 101 adapted to accommodate an installation surface, a touch interactive display panel 102 to provide input commands, an inbuilt microcontroller to process the input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to detect presence of the installation surface, a robotic arm 104 to extend towards a chamber 105 stored bearings, an inverted L-shaped telescopic clamping unit 110 to securely hold and position the bearing over the installation surface and an inverted L-shaped telescopic bar 111 to extend and position of a hydraulic pressing unit 112 securing the bearing with the installation surface."
