MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019726 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'automated beach barricading system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sanjay Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated beach barricading system, comprising a cuboidal body 1 installed with multiple rods 2 to be positioned on a beach, a GPS (Global Positioning System) module installed within body 1 for fetching real-time coordinates of body 1, a user interface installed in computing unit accessed by a concerned person to input details regarding a portion of beach that user desire to barricaded, an ultrasonic sensor installed on body 1 for detecting distance between body 1 and user-specified portion, a chamber attached inside body 1 for storing multiple plates 7 that are interconnected with multiple motorized crane arrangements 8 for deploying plates 7 on user-specified portion, and a touch sensor installed on each plate 7 for detecting placement of plates 7 on surface."
