MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018806 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated bathing assistive device for cattle.'
Inventor(s) include Devendra Pal Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated bathing assistive device for cattle, comprising a U-shaped body 1 positioned on ground surface, an inlet 4 crafted on body 1 for enabling user to position a cattle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 determines presence and positioning of cattle inside body 1 for actuating a motorized slider 6 for positioning an adjustable water dispensing unit 8 attached with slider 6, towards cattle, an optical sensor detecting size of cattle for actuating a concave shaped disc 7, attached with dispensing unit 8 to position disc 7 at an optimum positions in vicinity to cattle, a multi-sectioned chamber 9 for storing a soap solution, multiple primary nozzles 10 dispensing solution on cattle, a motorized brush 12 scrubs cattle's body, multiple secondary nozzles 14 attached with disc 7 for dispensing water for rinsing cattle's body that aids in successful cleaning of cattle's body."
