MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007256 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'automated barricading device for restricted area.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated barricading device for restricted area includes a body 1 positioned over ground via multiple rods 2 each configured with wheel 3, an imaging unit 4 to evaluate a 3-Dimensional mapping of surroundings, a display panel 5 for enabling a user to input a portion of surface to be barricaded, a roller 6 assembled inside body 1 rotates to unwind a net 7 wrapped on roller 6 that is further deployed by user, over user-specified area, an ultrasonic sensor installed on net 7 for detecting deployment of net 7, multiple poles 8 arrayed on net 7 extends to penetrate inside surface for securing net 7 on surface, a laser sensor for detecting trespassing of any unauthorized person and accordingly multiple LED(Light Emitting Diode) 9 installed on each of poles 8 to illuminate red light to notify people in proximity regarding restricted area during a low lighting conditions."
