MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024082 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'automated ball cleaning device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ball cleaning device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, button 2 that is accessed by a user for activating/de-activating device, motorized iris lid 3 to get opened, telescopically operated rod 4 to extend for positioning a meshed cylindrical member 5 integrated on rod 4 over body 1 by passing through opening, motorized clamp 6 that is accessed by user for engaging a ball on clamp 6, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images of inside of body 1 to determine dirt deposited on ball, air blowers 8 for removing dirt from surface of ball, electronically controlled nozzles 9 to dispense pressurized water stored in a water reservoir 10 on ball in view of removing dirt from ball's surface and ball bearings 11 to rotate for rotating ball in order to expose surface of ball."
