MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105056 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'automated badminton training system.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated badminton training system, comprising a bot 101 communicatively coupled to a jacket 102 using embedded Bluetooth modules, a twin-axis guiding rail 103 is integrated on surface of one side of a badminton court, the bot 101 mounted on the guiding rail 103 using motorized wheels 104 integrated with telescopic vertical rods, an AI-powered camera 105 monitor the trainee movement patterns, an articulated arm 106 hold a badminton racket, a compartment 107 housing shuttlecocks, a telescopic pusher 108 to propel the shuttlecock, multiple sensors continuously monitor and determine the vital parameters of the trainee during a trainee session, a holographic projector 109 provide real-time visual guidance and instructional support to the trainee during session, a display 110 enabling the trainee to input the personal details and specific training preferences."
