MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026139 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'automated animal paw cleaning device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated animal paw cleaning device, comprising a cylindrical body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a motorized iris lid 2 arranged on the body 1 that is accessed by a user for inserted an animal's paw inside the body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the body 1 to determine dimensions of the animal's paw present in proximity to the body 1, plurality of bristles 4 integrated within the body 1 that are rubbed against the animal's paw in order to remove dirt/debris deposited on the animal's paw and a multi-sectioned chamber 5 arranged inside the body 1 for dispensing cleaning solution over the animal's paw while being rubbed by the bristles 4 in view of thoroughly cleaning the animal's paw."
