MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018899 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated alloy wheel designing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pratap Singh; and Dr. Dinesh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated alloy wheel designing device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface and a user places an alloy wheel in body 1 via a lid 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines dimensions of accommodated alloy wheel, a touch interactive display panel 4 arranged on body 1 displays multiple design patterns for allowing user to select a desired pattern, clamping units 5 arranged at base of body 1 to grip wheel, a motorized two-axis lead screw 7 translates a nozzle 6 over wheel as per user-selected pattern and followed by actuation of nozzle 6 to dispense pressurized water on wheels for cutting of pattern on wheel, an angle sensor monitors angle of edges carved on wheel and a motorized grinding wheel 8 arranged on lead screw 7 for filing edges of wheel."
