According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention describes an Automated, Intelligent Life-Protection System for Preventing Vehicle Immersion in Water. In everyday life, many people die because their vehicles sink. An automated, intelligent system not only can prevent such incidents but also lives can also be saved. This invention comprises four units, including a sensing unit that indicates the possibility of an accident. The alert unit's function is to trigger an alert if an accident occurs. The function of the protection unit is to save lives in emergencies. It helps the passengers to get out of the vehicle safely. GPS and GSM modules are used to determine the vehicle's actual location and generate an alert message. All these units are connected to the microcontroller."
