MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088222 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'autoamtic system for identification and rectification of defects in molded parts.'
Inventor(s) include Kumar Rajesh.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0044] An automatic system (100) for detecting and rectifying defects occurred in a molded part (102). The system (100) comprises a Digital Inspection Machine (DIM) (104) for scanning the molded part (102), an analyzing module (112) configured to perform different iterations in Moldflow Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) stored in the DIM (104) to optimize errors in the molded part (102), and a detection module (114) within the DIM (104) to detect and display errors in the molded part (102). The DIM (104) including the analyzing module (112) and the detection module (114) provides in comprehensive inspection, error analysis, and optimization of molded part (102) using model provided by the user and Moldflow CAE, thereby enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the inspection process based on at least one of the parameters and facilitating in automated detection of the best iteration for the error elimination in the further molded parts."
