MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012437 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'authentication based secured vehicle parking system.'
Inventor(s) include Gagandeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An authentication based secured vehicle parking system plates 1 positioned over a ground surface, each developed to securely park two-wheeler, wherein each of plates 1 are interconnected by a pair of chains, a pair of flap 2 mounted over lateral sides of plates 1 by motorized sliding unit 3 to provide translation to the flaps 2 towards each other to grip the wheel securely, a pair of C-shaped links 4 configured over each of plates 1 by motorized hinges 5, to provide movement to links 4 in order to lock the two-wheeler, a user interface inbuilt in a computing unit accessed by user for entering login details or registering new profile and a fingerprint sensor 6 crafted on platform for enabling user to give fingerprints for accessing said two-wheeler only after successful payment."
