MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055530 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on June 9, for 'austenitic stainless steel.'
Inventor(s) include Nishimoto, Takumi; Seto, Masahiro; and Tanaka, Katsuki.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An austenitic stainless steel having a predetermined chemical composition and satisfying [0.010=VER+TiER+NbER], [27.0=1.13(Ni-NiER)+(Cr-CrER)+1.85(Mo-MoER)+1.79(Nb-NbER)40.5], [NbER0.052], and [0.5=(Hv40-Hvt/2)/Hvt/2]."
