According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a mobile-based Augmented Reality (AR) First Aid Assistant for guiding non-medical users through emergency first aid procedures. The system integrates a mobile application frontend (2), camera module (3), AR engine (4), instruction module (5), 3D animation module (6), and user display (7) to deliver real-time, step-by-step visual guidance for emergencies such as heart attacks (CPR), burns, bleeding, choking, and snake bites. Upon selecting an emergency type, the AR engine renders 3D animated models over the live camera feed, while synchronized text or voice instructions guide the user through each procedural step. The system employs lightweight 3D models optimized for mobile AR and supports both marker-based and markerless overlays for accurate spatial alignment. By providing intuitive visual instructions, the invention overcomes literacy barriers, reduces response delays, and enables ordinary individuals to perform first aid effectively until professional medical help arrives. The system is low-cost, cross-platform, and suitable for widespread public deployment."
