MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541049980 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 23, 2025, for 'associative memory model.'
Inventor(s) include Gupta, Sayan; Chakravarthy, Vadadhi Srinivasa; and Rohan, Nurani Rajagopal.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a system (100) and a method (800) for information storage and retrieval using a chaotic oscillatory associative memory model. The system (100) comprises a plurality of chaotic oscillators (102) interconnected with each other in a coupling arrangement. An input module (104) is configured to provide one or more first patterns of information to trigger the plurality of chaotic oscillators (102) to reach a stable attractor state based on a plurality of coupling weights of the coupling arrangement. An associative memory module (108) is configured to determine the plurality of coupling weights based on a binary vector of one or more second patterns of information stored in the plurality of chaotic oscillators (102). An output module (106) is configured to retrieve the stored one or more second patterns of information corresponding to the stable attractor state reached by the plurality of chaotic oscillators (102)."
