The system (100) processes the acquired visual data via an image preprocessing module (106) to enhance the captured visual data and eliminate background disturbances. The system (100) converts, via a text recognition module (108), the enhanced visual data into structured digital text to extract textual data. The system (100) processes the extracted textual data using a Natural Language Processing (NLP) module (110) to extract structured medication information. The system (100) verifies and formats the extracted structured medication information to eliminate errors and inconsistencies. The system (100) delivers an audio output and a tactile output of the verified structured medication."
