MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012441 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'assistive four-wheeler vehicle parking system.'

Inventor(s) include Pushpinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive four-wheeler vehicle parking system, comprises of a pair of frames 4 each arranged with multiple suction units 5 developed to be installed on a chassis portion of a four-wheeler vehicle 1, a user-interface installed within a computing unit accessed by a driver of vehicle 1 for initiating parking procedure of vehicle 1, an imaging unit 2 for locating a suitable parking spot for vehicle 1, a communication module establishes a wireless communication between microcontroller and an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) of vehicle 1 where microcontroller sends a signal to ECU for activating a display panel 3 to guide driver for positioning vehicle 1 in proximity to located parking spot, a pair of hydraulic actuators 6 each connected with multiple omnidirectional wheels 7 for lifting vehicle 1 followed by actuation of wheels 7 for providing a sideways movement to vehicle 1 in view of parking vehicle 1."
