MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024844 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'assistive engine sleeve removal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive engine sleeve removal device, comprises of an inverted U-shaped body 101 equipped with suction cups 102 for stable positioning around the engine sleeve, a microphone 103 for giving voice command inputs, an imaging unit 104 captures and processes sleeve dimensions and cavity data, a plate 106 arranged in between legs of body 101, each via an extendable rod 105 to extend/retract for positioning plate 106 on upper portion of cavity, a motorized lead screw arrangement, in between the rods 105 and the body 101 for translating rods 105 to position plate 106 inside sleeve at an optimum height, an expandable pulley arrangement 107 integrated in the plate 106, to expand/contract for affixing the plate 106 around inner edges of the sleeve, a projection unit body 101, to guide user to positon body 101 at projected beams, ensuring correct alignment of body 101."
