MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007325 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'assistive device for constructing concrete structures.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assistive device for constructing concrete structures, comprising a housing 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch enabled screen 2 enabling a user to give input commands regarding shape and dimensions of a concrete structure, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 4 for placing determined number of blocks, a robotic arm 5 equipped with a cutter 6 for cutting blocks at suitable locations via cutter 6 as per user-defined shape, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 7 maneuvering housing 1 on ground surface in a pre-determined path, a pair of telescopically operated grippers 4 for gripping and successively positioning determined number of blocks in user-defined shape, a camera 8 detecting gaps between blocks, and an electronic nozzle 9 actuated by microcontroller for dispensing solution in gaps in view of affixing blocks with each other and the microcontroller actuates computing unit for notifying user to fill concrete mixture."
