MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514025580 A) filed by Webasto SE, Stockdorf, Germany, on March 20, for 'assembly for a vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assembly (1) for a vehicle (100), comprising at least one light source (80), and a light guiding element (10) having an outer surface (11), wherein the light guiding element (10) is coupled with the at least one light source (80), and wherein the light guiding element (10) is configured to guide light fed in by the at least one light source (80) and provide it for a specified illumination of a vehicle interior. The assembly (1) furthermore comprises a reflection layer (20), which has a first main surface (21) and a second main surface (22), which is opposite to the first main surface (21) along a stack direction (L1), wherein the reflection layer (20) is arranged at least partially on the outer surface (11) of the light guiding element (10), the second main surface (22) faces toward the outer surface (11), so that light is reflected in a first section (25) of a boundary layer (15) between the outer surface (11) and the reflection layer (20), and at least one decoupling element (30), which is capable of decoupling light from the light guiding element (10) in a second section (35) of the boundary layer (15) between the outer surface (11) and the decoupling element (30)."
