MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088263 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Dec. 22, 2023, for 'artificial intelligence-enabled system for engine-driven generator.'
Inventor(s) include Shivam Pandey; Vikas Wasson; Anjana Sharma; Ayon Somaddar; and Ekta Bhardwaj.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An artificial intelligence-enabled system for engine-driven generator includes an engine with an integrated temperature sensor for assessing engine ignition as this ignites internal combustion, generating mechanical energy, a connecting shaft transfers this energy to a generator, which converts this energy into electrical power, a battery connected with generator stores this electricity, an fuel pressure sensor monitors ignition for aiding a processing unit in efficiency prediction via machine learning protocols, an imaging unit assesses terrain ahead, helping the processing unit determine the required engine power for smooth terrain traversal and then supplying power from the battery to ensure seamless movement across the terrain."
